Butler Basketball

I was reminded not so subtly by my cousin, Leslie, that I have not updated my blog in a while.

Ry, Kol, and I went to the Butler basketball game with my dad and my little sister last Saturday.  It was the last regular season home game and they needed the win to claim the regular season conference title.  The game was on ESPN2, so it was declared a "white out" game for the Butler fans.  It was a great game and Butler won, which made it even better.  Hinkle Fieldhouse is an awesome place to watch a basketball game.

I have turned my boys into Butler basketball fans, I love it!!

Science Fair 2009

Today was our annual Science Fair.  It was a little busier for me this year having to help Ry and Kol get their projects together.   But, they both turned out awesome, so it was worth it.

Kol studied frogs and how they tell us about the environment.  One of the other moms told me that there is a traveling exhibit at the science museum in Columbus that is all about frogs being environmental indicators.  So, I guess he picked a pretty good subject!  Kol earned an Excellent ribbon.

Ry studied vibrations in relation to the "sweet spot" of a baseball bat.  He had a lot of fun combining baseball and science, two of his favorite things.  Ry earned his third Superior ribbon.  I think this is definitely his best subject!
