It finally happened...

...one of our kids hit the ER last Sunday evening. And, somehow, I always knew it would be Kol to go first. Luckily, it was more funny than serious. Kol put a Playmobil coin up his nose, way up his nose. I included a picture of a Playmobil coin next to a penny to give those of you who don't know how tiny this object is a sense of it. He really freaked out when he got it stuck. He ran to me screaming, "Get it out! Get it out!" I got him calmed down, but we couldn't see it, so Marty took him to the ER. The doctor used a long pair of tweezers to get it out, Marty said he laid there really still, he was probably terrified. :) He was excited about his Spiderman sticker and arm band with his name on it, so we took a picture so we wouldn't have to keep them forever.

Ry and Kol's First T-Ball Game

Ry and Kol had their first T-Ball game 2 Saturdays ago. It was FREEZING! Not the best weather for opening day. It was in the low 40s and the wind was blowing hard. Our kids seemed to get through it, they were shivering, but managing. The poor kids on the other team. One of them got upset about the cold and started crying and them 3 or 4 of them were crying. It was crazy, but they all finished the game. We had Tate covered in blankets in the stroller, but he didn't like not being able to see, so we let him poke his face out. Everyone was happy to get back in the car and turn the heat up full blast.

After the game, we went to see Nim's Island. I loved it, so did Marty and Ry. I think Kol would have, but he fell asleep half way through. They should have a half price ticket for nappers! :) Anyway, I would definitely put it on the to see list.

What a MESS!!

It amazes me the mess a baby can make with a little bit of baby food on his face and a biter biscuit. The biscuit kept him busy for a while, but he was so gross when he was finished. Of course, I had experienced this level of messiness with the other two, so I learned my lesson and biter biscuits are diaper only meals. :)

The Children's Museum in Indy

A few weeks ago, my brother and his wife were in town to visit. It was the first chance we had to meet little Averielle, who was born 6 days before Tate. She is super cute and we had fun visiting. We went down to The Children's Museum in Indianapolis one afternoon. Darcie was able to go for a little while before she had to head back to Columbus. It is a great hands on museum. So the kids had a great time, all of us! :) They had a temporary Curious George exhibit that was super cute. Tate already loves that show!

New CAR!!!

These are a little out of chronological order, but I have been promising them to those who know of our new major purchase. We decided it was time to dump the van. So, we looked at vans, but opted to go a little smaller to get better gas mileage. So, we got a small SUV, a Mazda Tribute and I love it!! I want to get the whole family Zoom Zoom shirts. :) I fell in love with this one because of the cool interior. So, now we fight over who gets to drive everywhere we go!! :)

Easter

I found Mickey ties at The Disney Store for the boys for Easter. I was so excited, they were so cute!

Are You Tired of Our Zoo Pictures Yet?

So, nobody will want to go to the Cincinnati Zoo when they come to visit because you will have seen the whole zoo by the end of this year. :) We had another nice day, so we headed down there. It was freezing this past weekend, crazy weather! At least it is supposed to warm up by the end of this week. Tate is outgrowing his winter stuff, so it has to get warm! Anyway, back to the zoo. Another great day. Hopefully, the bears will be arousing from their slumber soon. There are several animals that stay in for the winter, can't say that I blame them. So, we will have new critters to admire soon. I am not sure we will claim the guy on the camel! :)
